Terms, Safety & Community Guidelines
Let’s be honest: nobody loves fine print. We don’t either.
But in the world we live in, some rules and guardrails are necessary. We’ve done our best to keep this clear, plain-spoken, and readable by actual humans.
If you have questions at any point, email us at hello@neighborquad.com. We mean that.
The Short Version
NeighborQuad exists to help real people form real, local connections - safely, respectfully, and without becoming the kind of platform everyone complains about.
By using NeighborQuad, you agree to a few basic expectations that keep the experience positive and trustworthy for everyone involved.
Who NeighborQuad Is For
NeighborQuad is for adults 18 and older
You must provide accurate information about who you are and where you live
One person = one account. No burner accounts. No impersonation. No exceptions.
Verification & Privacy
We take safety and privacy seriously—but let’s be clear about what that means (and what it doesn’t).
We review identification documents and confirm that submitted information appears consistent before publishing profiles
This process helps reduce risk, but it is not a guarantee of anyone’s identity, character, intentions, or exact location
Profiles are intentionally limited and remain anonymous until two people mutually connect
We collect only what’s necessary to operate NeighborQuad and improve the experience
We do not sell personal data. Ever. That’s a hard line.
Verification is a safety layer, not a promise that everyone is perfect or trustworthy. Use good judgment. Always.
Community Standards (a.k.a. Don’t Be Weird)
By using NeighborQuad, you agree to:
Treat others with respect
Communicate honestly and clearly
Keep interactions appropriate, non-harassing, and non-threatening
Respect boundaries - online and offline
You agree not to:
Harass, stalk, threaten, or intimidate others
Use NeighborQuad for scams, solicitation, or commercial purposes
Share another person’s personal information without permission
Use the platform for illegal activity of any kind
If these standards are violated, we reserve the right to remove your account. No drama. No debates.
Meeting in Real Life
NeighborQuad helps make introductions. What happens next is up to you.
• Always meet in public places first
• Keep initial meetups simple and casual - think coffee or a walk
• Trust your instincts - if something feels off, don’t proceed
You are solely responsible for your interactions and any meetings that occur through NeighborQuad.
